Hi, my name is Dax Niesten (born 1998).

I’m multidisciplinary artist based in The Hague, The Netherlands.

My work is often based around storytelling.

This can be done in the media of painting, drawing, animation, music, or film.

The world I assemble is colorful, intuitive, free and playful.
It’s about catching small gestures and moments

of human connection.

It comes from a place of longing — longing to feel close, longing to feel safe,

or longing for something familiar.
